Visitors will stop counting against bed/room limitations setting

Visitors will stop counting against bed/room limitations setting

when a visitor checks in, passagepoint increments a patients visitor count by 1

Because most hospitals typically do not sign out visitors, once a visitor physically leaves, this counter does not decrement.

To address this, PassagePoint has a feature to autodecrement based on time in minutes.

Login as a user with Admin privileges and do:

Home > configure > HL7 integration

"Visitors will stop counting against bed/room limitations 30 minutes after sign-in"

if your version is 6446 or higher
Home > configure > HL7 integration > Logging Settings

"Visitors will stop counting against bed/room limitations 30 minutes after sign-in"
