PassagePont Anti-virus exclusions

PassagePont Anti-virus exclusions

We have identified that the antivirus software installed at customer systems interferes with the operations performed by PassagePoint and this leads to other issues. On the PassagePoint Server these issues lead to performance degradation and on the PassagePoint Client this usually leads to inconsistent integration with the supported hardware(s).

We recommend that customers add the following expectation for the following paths for their antivirus - both for the PassagePoint server as well as all machines that install PassagePoint client:


Exception to folders:

     1. PPGlobal\
         default path C:\PPGlobal\

     2. Acuant\
         default path C:\Program Files (x86)\Acuant\

3.  hl7MsgSpool  (for hospitals with HL7 module)
      default path C:\PPGlobal\Tomcat\webapps\pp\WEB-INF\hl7MsgSpool


b. Exception to processes:
     1. Acuant\SDK\SnapServer.exe
         default path C:\Program Files (x86)\Acuant\SDK\SnapServer.exe

     2. PPGlobal\Client\windows\ScanConsole.exe
         default patch C:\PPGlobal\Client\windows\ScanConsole.exe



Exceptions to process:

PassagePoint Server:

Tomcat9.exe





PassagePoint client:

PPClient.exe



Add exceptions in your internal network for URL example:

Your server address:2080/pp/servlet/resolver
