PassagePoint Freezes on adding the Driver license Scanner to
Station Preferences
PassagePoint is unable to locate the environment variable due to other
conflicting environment variables or missing files.
The environment variable will
need to be updated or added.
Verify the environment variable exist and update the environment variable.
i) Close the PassagePoint client
ii) Verify and update the environment variable based on OS. See Below.
FOR Win 7 - Go to windows environment variables>> system variables>> edit the
variable named “Path” then move"C:\Program Files (x86)\Acuant\SDK;"(path example
below) to the front of the path
ex: C:\Program Files
(x86)\Acuant\SDK;C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath;C:\Program Files
(x86)\Oracle\jre\1.1.8\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\
System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\
FOR WIN 10 - Go to windows environment variables>> system variables>> edit the
variable named “Path” then move “C:\Program Files (x86)\Acuant\SDK” to the very
top
If still freezing:
i) uninstall the SDK >> control panel >> programs and features >> uninstall AcuFill SDK
ii) uninstall all gemalto control panel >> programs and features >> anything "gemalto"
Go to \PPGlobal:
Delete the ".Uninstaller" folder
Go to \PPGlobal\client:
Delete the "jarCache" folder
Delete the "xmlCacheSecure"folder
Go to \PPGlobal\client\windows:
Delete the "cpprest100_1_2.dll" file
Delete the "ScanConsole.exe"
Delete the "cssn" folder
Go to C:\Program files (x86):
Delete "Acuant" folder
Delete "Card Scanning Solutions" if existing
Reboot the pc
On start up "right click" PassagePoint Icon and "Run as Administrator"
When the SDK is finished, reboot the pc
Try Adding the scanner again
