How to Install and Configure the Dymo 550
NOTE: Using the forward button to send a label and attempt to retract it, the counter will continue counting. Therefore, it's advisable to refrain from manually feeding labels unnecessarily.
Download the driver package from: http://downloads.stopware.com/updates/files/dymo550.zip
Unzip the ‘dymo550’
Right click the “DCDSetup1.4.3.131.exe” and run as an administrator.
Give rights to the printer for everyone in windows:
Navigate to control panel > devices and printers > right click your printer select printer properties
Select security > select everyone >> check manage this printer > check manage documents > click apply and ok
To add the printer:
Log in to PassagePoint
Navigate to home >> station preferences > click add at the bottom right > select badge printers > click 'select printer...' > select the printer from the list
Select the orientation
Select the Paper Size
Click ‘OK’ when finished.
To adjust the brightness:
Navigate to Home > station preferences > change 'Badge Photo Brightness' to 30
Exit PassagePoint and log back in
Test print again, update the brightness as needed.
