How to Install and Configure the CR1100
Download and Install the CR1100 Driver
Do not Plug in the CR1100.
Please download the CR1100 Virtual Com driver from: http://downloads.stopware.com/updates/codereader/cr1100.zip
Plug in the CR1100
Scan the ‘Rest to Factory Defaults’
Next
Scan “Enable Motion Detection"
Scan “Enable CDC VCOM Mode"
Update the COM Port
Navigate to Windows Start> Control Panel> Device Manager
Expand Ports (COMS & LPT) from the list> Right click the 'USB serial Device' and select properties
Select Port Settings> Click Advanced> select the COM Port and update it to 50
Reboot the PC
Add the Cr1100
Log in to PassagePoin as admin
Navigate to home> station preferences> hit add at the bottom > select barcode scanner> generic barcode scanner> enter a name> give it a name> select the com port> select baud rate 115200 > click finish
