How to configure cipher (weak cipher)

Ciphers are configurable. The steps for the same are provided below:

  • Stop the PassagePoint services
  • On PassagePoint Server Installed machine, navigate to path 'PassagePoint Installation Directory:\PPGlobal\Tomcat\conf' and take the backup of 'server.xml' file on the Desktop (or anywhere outside the PPGlobal folder) just in case you have to revert.
    • Now Edit the 'server.xml' file available on above path with any editor(Notepad or wordpad)
    • Search for '2443' in 'server.xml' file and then replace the below old ciphers(Ciphers highlighted in below screenshots)
    • Remove any unwanted ciphers

  • Save the changes made in 'server.xml' file
  • Start the PassagePoint services
Now rerun their test
