How to add a camera

Please enable app Permissions for your camera in Windows


Select Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Camera, then make sure Camera access is turned on


To add a webcam:

  1. log in to PassagePoint with admin

  2. Navigate to Home > Station Preferences > Click add at the bottom

  3. Select ”Cameras” > Click “Next” > Select “Native Video Source” or “Native Video Source (version 2.0)” > Click “Next”

  4. Give the Camera a Name >> Select the Source > Click Finish


The Camera is now ready to be tested

  1. Exit PassagPoint

  2. Log back into PassagePoint

  3. Navigate to Rapid Registration > Select the ‘Visit Entry’ tab > to the right under the “Capture” Panel >  click on the “Photo” icon > the camera should load > Click the “Capture” button

  4. Click “Save” to save the image or click “X” to close the capture window without saving the image.
